Friday prayers in other than a mosque

In my school teachers and students organise the friday prayers in a classroom. But I heard that if the Friday prayers was done in a place where all the other 5 prayers are not done, then the Friday prayer is invalid. Is that true and is it okay to pray the friday prayers in a classroom?
