Is my income that I receive for the days I’m granted leave, Halal?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I am working at a site. I work and live at site. We do not have holiday on saturday or sunday. We are given holidays after 20-25 days of working. Our site head is CRE and he is responsible for all the matters. I heard that project management had some letter to CRE that only 6 leaves (in compensation of working on saturday+sunday)for the staff together. But as we live away these leaves are very less. My house in 12 hours away from site. I also get written approval casual+earned( 2-3 days)leaves from CRE that are annually from our company (for those earned leaves there is some very small deduction from my salary). Is my incom halal of those days? My CRE allow us I dnt know what is understanding between my CRE and project management.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Respected brother

Your query is not clear. Our response is based on our understanding. You state your CRE is responsible for all matters pertaining to your employment. If he has granted you leave, your income will be halaal. You are not responsible to know the understanding between CRE and management.
