Accusing someone due to a dream

Q: In reality we are affected with Sihr/Jinns. After my father passed away my brother dreamt of my late father telling him who the culprit is for our sihr problem, we should not confront him, we will get better. Is there any truth in what my late father said? In dead people telling one about the dunya?

A: In Shari’ah dreams are not regarded as Shari’ee evidence to accuse any person. At times a dream can be influenced by Shaitaan. Hence, the better and safer thing for you is that you should turn to Allah Ta’ala and seek his divine assistance.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
