Dream Interpretation

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I request an interpretation of the dream I had 2nights ago. It was before fajr and it’s concerning me alot. The dream is as follows

I was sitting in my mum room at her place and I can hear alot of noise and people talking but very loud. So I got up and walked out of the room and my husband is walking naked around the house and he’s like insane. He is just talking in different languages and talking as if he was gone mad so I shouted out to him saying Muhammad put some clothes on and what is wrong with you.

Then I see a man and he’s telling me Muhammad needs treatment he needs my help give him to me but I didn’t want him to come close, so I grabbed Muhammad by his hand and took him in the room and dressed him in a pants and t-shirt but he is just laughing and talking in Hindi.
So I told him to wait there and I’m screaming at him to snap out of it and I keep telling him this is not who you are and what is wrong with you.

Then I went out the house and I’m walking down the road for help from an aalim when I pass one of the houses my mum is sitting among priests and they all chanting in Hindi so I screamed for her and I’m asking her what are you doing there

But on my mind is my husband is there and I need to help him so I go to a musjid and I’m telling someone from the masjid but this person couldn’t understand what I meant so I sit in a car and go back for Muhammad thinking I’ll take him to the musjid so they can help

So I use different route home so Muhammad doesn’t see my mum but as I’m driving, the car just stops and the man is saying I want Muhammad I need to treat him and he will get my help

So I’m telling him you can try and take him but it won’t work and my second sister is telling me stop being deluded cause he needs help..as if he this man had everything and everyone in his control (spell)..as he’s talking more about taking Muhammad he’s coming closer to the car and Muhammad starts undressing again so I’m holding the top and pants together with one hand and the other I’m locking my doors when eventually I said Allah I need you and everything disappears.

I drove to the masjid and I tied Muhammad hand to a railing with a cloth and then all those priests created like a barrier in front of the masjid and they are chanting something then I woke up cause Muhammad was waking me up for fajr.

I am deeply disturbed by this dream.

And I don’t know if this has any link to my dream but my step father has a friend who’s one of these people that makes people pledge similar to taking (bay’at)but he has mehndi on his nails and many rings and wears something similar to a tasbih but it’s something else garlands and they bow to him and pay him money. Allah forgive me and us for judging this person but it looks really frightening

He never came home for some time after we found out he does all these strange things and customs, but today Muhammad went to fetch a parcel for me at my mum’s house and found this man there , so he was really shocked upon seeing the person there for the first time and found his appearance a little scary and suggested I get advice regarding my dream immediately

I am afraid and don’t know what to do. Please advise.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The dream is an expression of your Imaan and faith in Allah. In your dream you said, Allah I need you. That’s when everything disappears. There is nothing to be afraid of. Be punctual in your Salah, recitation of the Qur’aan and read the manzil every day. At least recite Ayatul Kursi after each Salah and four Quls at night before sleeping.

If possible, advise your father to refer to Ulama and people of Sunnah.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
