I am working with a software development company on part time basis apart from having a full time well-off job. The company, where I am working part time, develops, customizes, enhances a software product which is specific to fashion industry. The software is actually used by fashion retailers in United State and is basically a virtual (3D) fitting or dressing room. Please visit following to learn about virtual fitting room;

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle your role as a software technical writer is Shariah Compliant if it does not necessitate you looking at images of the opposite gender. If you are required to do so, then you should look for alternate employment.
