Respected Sister,

A Muslim woman should actually be donning the hijaab and niqaab since they are required in Shari’ah. In fact, it is something praiseworthy to be wearing the niqaab as the person is trying her best to follow the best role models for a believing woman – the wives of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). All of the wives of our beloved Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) should be regarded as every Muslim woman’s role models in whatever they do – clothing, mannerism, courage, love of Allah, piety and so forth.

And Allah knows best.

Wassalam.
