Duas to control anger

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Tafseer Raheemi

Question: How do you control anger?

Answer: To control anger one should pray Ta’awuz as reported in the Hadeeth of Tirmithi:

If one is standing then he/she should sit down and if the anger doesn’t go away, then they should lie down like in the Hadeeth of Abu Dawud Shareef:

One could also perform Wudhu, as this also takes away anger like in the Hadeeth of Abu Dawud Shareef:

One should think that Allah has more power over me than what I have over him/her, what if Allah gets His anger out on me.

And Allah SWT knows best
