Q: I have sent my parents for hajj this year. I believe I am obliged to do Qurbani on their behalf here at home. However due to financial circumstances I am unable to slaughter 2 sheep. Will it be possible for me to donate to an overseas Qurbani appeal on behalf of my parents as this is affordable to me? Or can I do just one Qurbani sheep on behalf of both my parents?
A: First take their permission to do their Qurbani on their behalf. Do for both overseas. You cannot do one on behalf of both of them.
