Reciting and memorizing Qur’an during menstruation

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

My question is regarding memorising Surahs/ayahs from the quran whilst a woman is on her period. Is it allowed for her (according to the Hanafi Fiqh) to recite ayahs out loud if her intention is to memorise them? I have tried to memorise ayahs w/o reciting them and just listening but it doesn’t work… perhaps I need to work harder…well could you please tell me if this is permissible according to the hanafi fiqh?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
