Assalamu Alaikum
Mufthi Sahib, We attend thableeghi Ijthima and there the rows of Namaz are connected somewhat like this, for example

*
* * * * * * * *
* * * * * * * *
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
* * *
* * *
* * *
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
( * = Imam, *** = Namazi)
please send me me Fatwa in this connection.

Let it be informed that it is not compulsory that two corners of each Saf (Row) be connected for the validity of Namaz but it is sufficient if the Rows are connected from one side or in the middle. As for the given sketch is concerned, it should be avoided to have such connections ‘purposely’
