Question:
I want to know if I and my husband was having a normal conversation and then I said” I’m not stopping from my work kyu ke agar aap ne kabhi mujhe chod diya to mere pas job honi chahiye” Then husband replied that” tumhe meine chod diya to sara bank balance to tumhare pass hai” the husband did not intend to divorce and was he referred to if it ever happened in the future. None of them was angry. We don’t live in Pakistan. Does it have any effect on our nikkah?

Answer:
If your husband intended divorce by that statement then Talaq (divorce) took place. (1)
The marriage is valid and intact if he did not intend to divorce.
“He (Allah) knows the treachery of the eyes and whatever is concealed by hearts.” Surah Ghafir verse 19
Only Allah knows best.
