Can You Share Some Du’a for Inter-caste Marriage?

Answered as per Shafi'i Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org

Answered by Ustadha Shazia Ahmad

Question

I have a friend who I love and want to marry, but she belongs to a caste where the family marries in their caste. Is there any dua to make to Allah Most High to seal our two fates together by the will of Allah Most High?

Answer

Certain politicians and social activists encourage inter-caste marriages in India to unify the nation and start eliminating the caste system. Allah has power over all things, and sealing two fates together is easy for Him.

Allah Comes First

I suggest that first, you solidify your relationship with Allah Most High. Pray on time five times a day, pay zakat on time, and fast Ramadan. Learn about your daily halals and harams, the enormities of the tongue, and steer clear of what Allah Most High has asked. Forgive any grudges you might have, pay your debts, and pray in the last third of the night, tahajjud and the Prayer of Need.

Some Supplications

Here are some du’as and surahs in the following links that will benefit you. Nothing is more beloved to Allah than a consistent good deed, even if only a little. Try to make some of these du’as regular devotional acts (wird) for the rest of your life.
