Mutta Marriage

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Tafseer Raheemi

What is Mutta marriage? Was it ever practiced before? Is it completely forbidden now?

A Mutta marriage is temporary marriage, for one night, week etc. It was allowed in the beginning of Islam during travels, never at home but then it was made haram under all circumstances, forever.
