I’ve send this question, many times, but you didn’t reply. Sir please try to give me the answer. I’m from BANGLADESH and a follower of HANAFI FIQH. I have come to know from many prominent MUFTI that reciting surah FATIHAH in the LAST two rakaahs of FARD salaah is MUSTAHAB. I believe this is 100% true, but I want to know a HADITS proving this MASALAH. They couldn’t give me the HADITS because of lack of time. They also studied in your great DEOBAND. I will be grateful to you if you help provide me with this answer. Please give me reference also, so I can read them and SHOW that to OTHERS.

It is proved from hadith to recite Surah al-Fatiha in the last two rakah of fardh, however it is only better, not wajib. The companions of the holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) have ijma on it.
ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يقرأ في الأخريين بفاتحة الكتاب لا غير. (بخارى، ابوداؤد، مصنف ابن ابي شيبة). على و ابن مسعود رضى الله عنهما كانا يقولان : المصلى بالخيار فى الأخريين إن شاء قرأ وإن شاء سكت وإن شاء سبح ، وسال رجل عائشة رضى الله تعالى عنها عن قراءة الفاتحة فى الأخريين فقالت: “ليكن على وجه الثناء” ولم يرو عن غيرهم خلاف ذلك فيكون ذلك اجماعاً ولأن القراءة فى الأخريين ذكر يخافت بها على كل حال فلا تكون فرضا كثناء الافتتاح .
