Assalaamu Alaikum, I would like to know that one of friend’s sister is working in Life Insurance Company as a Sales Manager. Would like to know whether this job is Halal or Haram for her ? Appreciate the swift response. Jazakallah

(Fatwa: 1417/1333=D/1429)
The dealings in insurance company are based on interest and gambling; therefore it is unlawful to work there. If she fears any trouble in giving up the job immediately, then she should look for a lawful job and leave this one when finds a suitable one.
