Is it correct to say “یا مرید”?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Jamia Binoria

My question is that is it correct to say “یا مرید”? Is this one of the names of Allah? What is its meaning? We are in need of Taweez and Wazifa etc. so can you please tell us any?

الجواب حامدا و مصلیا

The meaning of “مرید” is “the one who intends” and it is one of the attributes of Allah, hence it is correct to say. Also, if the questioner is in need of any Wazifa or Taweez etc. for any specific reason then it will be beneficial for him to contact an Amil whos is upon the Sunna or Islamic traditional ways.
And Allah knows best.
