Assalamu Alaikum. Wanted to know the ruling with regard to trimming of hair of women in Umrah? By wrapping around the joint of the finger and cutting monthly has fairly shorten the hair. Is it possible to cut 1/4th hair like of males?

1. It is Masnoon and Wajib for females to trim their hair during Haj and Umrah. 2. However due to performing of Umrah monthly or excessively and trimming thereof, if hair of any female becomes so short that trimming further makes a doubt of resemblance to males, then for this particular female it does not become Wajib to trim her hair and no Damm would become Wajib on her for not trimming.
