Q. What is the fiqh of reading Salah on the plane?

In the name of Allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful.

Answer:

Salah should be performed on the ground, however as an unscheduled stop (to perform salah) is beyond the controls of the passengers and due to this there is fear of the salah becoming qadha then salah can be performed on the plane. The condition of qibla should be observed while performing the salah on the plane.
