Assalamualaikum I use apps like Instagram Pinterest etc which have photos obviously. Also, my family sends photos on WhatsApp which get stored on my camera roll. I wanted to know whether this will also prevent angels of mercy from entering my house? I do not own a tv nor do we bring newspapers due to this reason.

Answer:
It is best to avoid all types of images online as many times it is possible to see something that is impermissible. As for digital images online, social media, WhatsApp, and other digital means, they are not in the same rulings as a physical picture, so they don’t prevent angels of mercy from entering the house.
