Doing Wudhu upon Wudhu for Masah on Khuffs

Question

Assalamu alaikum

If for example, masah is only applicable (on socks) after one has broken their wudhu (i.e. it is not permissible to do masah on ones socks from the time they have performed their wudhu and put on the socks till the time they have broken it), would such a person still be rewarded for performing wudhu upon wudhu while doing masah on socks (in that very time period where masah is not yet applicable)?

Answer:

A person will only have to do masah on the socks once his wudhu breaks, therefore, there is no need to do wudhu upon wudhu. However, if one does wudhu, inshallah, he will still get a reward.
