Question

What is the authenticity of the narration regarding a drought during the time of Sayyiduna ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu) answered here?

 

Answer

Hafiz Ibn Kathir (rahimahullah) has declared the chain authentic (هذا إسناد صحيح). Hafiz Ibn Hajar Al ‘Asqalani (rahimahullah) has also declared the chain authentic (بإسناد صحيح)
