Qurbani and Cutting Fingernails and Hair (Hanbali Fiqh)

Answered as per Hanbali Fiqh by HanbaliDisciples.com
Q: What can I not do, if I want to slaughter an Udhiyyah?
A: When the 10 days of Dhul Hijjah begin, it is impermissible for the one who plans to slaughter or have a slaughter done for them to remove any hair, nails, or skin until they slaughter.

It is also recommended to shave one’s head after they slaughter as an act of glorification for that day.
