Using the Desks of a Masjid in a Jamaat Khana

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by TheMufti.com

Q. Just Wanted To Know If 1 Jamaat Khana Can Use Some Desk From Another Masjid?

A. If a Waaqif (endower) made Waqf (endowment) of desks for the use of a specific Masjid or a person gave it specifically for the use of a Masjid, the desks cannot be used at another Masjid or Musalla/Jamaat Khana.

However, if the Waaqif made a general Waqf of the desks for an area or it was given for the use of the Masjid and surrounding Musallas/Jamaats Khana’s/Madressahs etc. of the area whenever required, then it would be permissible to use the desks of one Masjid at the places specified by the one making Waqf or giving the desks.
