Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

my aunt is critically ill and unable to travel to perform umrah can I perform umrah on her behalf? I appreciate your response.

Answer:

In The Name Of Allah, The Most-Merciful, The Most Kind

Yes, you can perform umrah on her behalf. There is a hadith regarding it;

Its narrated from Su’gba that he said; I heard Numan bin Salim that he said; I heard Amr bin Aws, he is narrating from Abi Razeen that he said: Oh Messenger of Allah! Verily my father is an old man, he can’t do Hajj or Umrah. Prophet (S.A.W) said: “Perform Hajj and ‘Umrah on behalf of your father.” (Sunan- Nasai 2622 Darus Salam)
