Question:

A woman is financially fine but has no mahram. Can someone do Hajj on her behalf?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Answer:

A person is allowed to perform Hajj for someone else who cannot go themselves if there is a genuine excuse that prevents them from going. In this case, because having a mahram is binding upon her, it is a genuine excuse and therefore, the woman can send someone to perform Hajj on her behalf.[1]
