Standing Up for Duruud in Some Bengali Mosques

Answer
The Melad which you are referring to is where some people stand up and recite certain duruuds and salutations or say Ya Rasul Allah to the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam.
To say the words “Ya Rasul Allah” (O Messenger of Allah) or to call for The Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam in some other way is not something that is unlawful or innovation (bid’a) in itself. If a person, upon hearing the blessed name of The Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam out of love and affection said Ya Rasul Allah or any other wording of Salutation (salat & salam), then this is totally permissible.
However, if by saying these words, one has the belief that The Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam is present in front of him in a way that Allah is, then this will be unlawful (haram) and considered to be Shirk. (Masaail Shirk & Bidah p.26)
Generally, those mosques who do this believe the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam to be present in front of them, thus, it will be best to refrain from such practices.
