Is this Hadith authentic?
Feeding the poor on ‘Aashura:
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever feeds a poor household on ‘Aashura will cross the bridge (Sirat) with the speed of lightening”
Answer
This is part of a lengthy narration which has been declared a fabrication by the Muhaddithun. The narration is therefore not suitable to quote.
