What is the authenticity of the following Hadith?
Sayyidah ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Verily the angels shake hands with the hajis arriving in Makkah mounted [on a conveyance] and embrace those arriving on foot.”
Answer
Imam Bayhaqi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith in Shu’abul Iman. However, the chain consists of an unreliable narrator.
