I want to know if under circumstances when I have no jobs offer from any company and I really need to start earning as I have to repay debts and support my family is it permissible to work for the IT department in Allianz Global (http://www.agcs.allianz.com/) ?

The department which has job opening is basically Information Technology (IT) department responsible for global information management and reporting services.

Insurance fundamentally is based upon interest and gambling. However as per the situation you have described in your question i.e. reporting of already agreed upon contracts etc., there is gunjaish(provision) to work in that capacity.
