Sending qurbaani overseas if one cannot afford it in the country he is residing in

Q: If qurbaani is fardh on a person but he does not have enough wealth to make it over here but he will be able to send it to India. Should he carry out qurbaani or what should he do? 

Bismillaah

A: If he does not possess wealth which equals nisaab, qurbaani is not waajib upon him. If he carries out the qurbaani, it will be a nafil qurbaani.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
