A beautiful way of addressing Allah Ta’ala (munajat)

Do these words of munajat come in a Hadith?

إِلَهِي سَمِعَ الْعَابِدُونَ بِذِكْرِكَ فَخَضَعُوا وَسَمِعَ الْمُذْنِبُونَ بِحُسْنِ عَفْوِكَ فَطَمِعُوا

Ilahi sami’al ‘abiduna bidhikrika fakhada’u wa sami’al mudhnibuna bi husni ‘afwika fa tami’u

Answer

Imam Abu Nu’aym (rahimahullah) has recorded these words as the du’a of the famous Saint, Dhun Nun Misri (rahimahullah).

(Hilyatul Awliya, vol. 9 pg. 385)

Translation

O My Allah! The pious worshippers heard about you so they obeyed and surrendered to you, the sinful ones heard of the wonderful way you forgive thus they have hope.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
