What is the authenticity of the following Hadith?

“The best charity is to reconcile people”

Answer:

Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) and other Muhaddithun have recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma).

(Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 14617 and 14655)

‘Allamah Mundhiri (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith sound due to corroboration.

(Targhib, vol. 3 pg. 489)
