A narration explaining a huge reward for Sa’i, walking between Safa and Marwah

Is this narration reliable?

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Whoever makes wudu properly and then walks between Safa and Marwah, will receive 70 000 rewards for each step”

Answer

Imam Daylami (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr.

(Musnadul Firdaws, Hadith: 5622)

However, ‘Allamah Suyuti (rahimahullah) has pointed out a liar in the chain of narrators. The Hadith is not suitable to quote.

(Dhaylul La-Alil Masnu’ah, vol. 1 pg. 476, Hadith: 576 and Tanzihush Shari’ah, vol. 2 pg. 175)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
