Is this Hadith authentic?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Whomsoever recites Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim once, Allah Ta’ala will record for each letter, four thousand good deeds, Allah will erase four thousand evil deeds and will raise his rank [in Jannah] by four thousand”
Answer
Imam Daylami (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

However, there are several narrators in the chain whom I could not locate and can therefore not verify the authenticity.
