Understanding Wet Dreams: Differentiating Mazi and Mani Release

Q:

1. I know that mazi don’t invalidate ghusl so if I have a wet dream and I feel wetness so how I know that I released mazi or mani?

2. Some time I feel tingly sensation in sleep and feel wetness without any dream.

A:

1. The fuqaha explain that the mani of a woman is yellowish and the mazi is whitish.

2. If it is wetness of mani then ghusl is compulsory.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
