Question
My sister has asked me to send her a box from Bangladesh to Canada in which there are things that she will be using for both halal and haram purposes. In this case, is it permissible for me to send her that box? Note that she has asked me to send someone else to give her that box. If it is not permissible then how should I handle the situation?

Allah, Most High, says:
“Cooperate with one another in goodness and righteousness, and do not cooperate in sin and transgression. And be mindful of Allah. Surely Allah is severe in punishment.” [Quran, 5:2]
Generally, assisting in sin is not permissible, but its definition has many gray areas. Without knowledge of what you speak of, I cannot answer your question with certainty. Feel free to write back with more detail:

If it indeed is impermissible, you will have to explain to her that you will not do something which displeases Allah, and you hope that she can stop her impermissible deeds, as well. Encourage her and be kind. Tell her that she always has options to do what Allah loves and that you will support her in any kind of goodness.
