Answered by Shaykh Amjad Rasheed
When I was praying the group prayer in the mosque, I remembered that I had invalidated my wudu by touching a woman without desire. Given that this action does not invalidate one’s wudu except in our school, is it better for me to leave the group prayer and make wudu, or to complete [h: the group prayer] with them and then make wudu and repeat [h: my prayer]? I am not well-grounded in the fiqh of purification and prayer in any other school. I also performed some things that are not permissible in the school of Imam Abu Hanifa, such as reciting while being a follower and performing the prayer on the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) after the first tashahhud.
In this case, it is obligatory for you to stop praying, make wudu, and pray [h: again]. It is not permissible for you to complete your prayer in this case.
