Cat hair in the washing machine

If there is a little bit of cat hair on one’s clothing, and then one puts it in the washing machine, does all of that clothing become affected with filth?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

If the hair is little, such as three strands of hair, it is excused, but if it is more, it is not excused.

السؤال: إن كان هناك قدرٌ يسير من شعر الهرة على ثوب ثم وضع في الغسّالة فهل ينجس الثياب ؟ الجواب : إذا كان الشعر يسيراً كثلاث شعرات عفي عنه وإلا فإن كان كثيراً فلا يعفى عنه .
