Q. My doctor has prescribed that I use an Oxygen Concentrator Machine to strengthen my lungs. There is no medication in the machine. Will this break my fast?
A. If oxygen is inhaled whilst fasting from an oxygen machine that contains oxygen only, the fast will not be affected in any way. However, if the oxygen machine contains any form of medication, then inhaling it whilst fasting will break the fast.
