Q. If a person arrived late for the Eid Salaah and the Eid Salaah finished, can he make Qadha of it?

A. If a person misses his Eid Salaah at one venue, then if it possible for him to make it for the Eid Salaah at another venue, then he should do so. (Kitaabul Fataawa 3/86) If this is not possible, then there is no Qadha for missing the Eid Salaah. (Hindiyyah 1/152) In such a situation, a person should seek forgiveness from Allah Ta’ala for missing the Eid Salaah.
