How does one respond to multiple Azaans being called out at one time?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by TheMufti.com

Q. In Istanbul, Turkey, the Azaan is called out almost at once from several Masjids. One can hear about five to six Azaans being called out at once. This happens in Durban too. Which Azaan should one reply to? Is it compulsory to reply to all the Azaans being called out?

A. A person should respond to the first Azaan of his/her Masjid or another Masjid from where he/she hears the Azaan being called out. It is not necessary to respond to all the Azaans being called out. (Halbi Sawgheer 1/94)
