Q. A couple of years ago a relative gave us a pet because they did not want it anymore, recently they are now demanding it back because his children need a pet. Is this correct ? And do we have the right not to give it back ?
A. If the pet was given to you, you are its rightful owner. Hence, if you wish to keep the pet, you may do so and if you wish to return the pet to its previous owners, you may also do so.
