Is paan a sunnah? I heard that once the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam was offered it. Is the authentic?
No, it’s not sunnat. The Prophet Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam never saw this paan we have today, especially the masala etc. However, there were times when He and the Sahaba had nothing to eat and they survived by chewing the leaves of plants.
