Did sahaba Lean on their sticks in salaat?

It is narrated regarding the tarawih prayers during the era of Sayyiduna Uthman (radhiallahu anhu) that the Sahaba used to lean on their sticks, due to the lengthy nature of the prayers. (I’laa al-Sunan)
