Illness of piles

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Tafseer Raheemi

I am a darul uloom student and I am in my thrid year of aalim course studies. I just want to ask regarding my problem, I have an illness called piles (also called haemorrhoids) so due to this condition of mine, dirty liquid in the colour of stool constantly keeps on coming out of my back passage. So what shall I do at namaaz time etc. and when I want to read Qur’an, and also can I lead namaaz in this condition. It stops sometimes but I dont even realize when it comes out, but most of the time it’s constantly coming out little by little. Please help me

Being a student of a darul uloom, you will know the hukm of a ma’zoor; if not, ask an ustad to explain to you.  If it continues, you should not lead salah.  See a hakeem and take some medication.  A very good cure is through cold water.  If you have a shower pipe in the toulet like the ones in Saudi, then shoot water at your private place for 5 minutes every time you go to the toilet, even when you go to pass water only.  Do this for a few days and you will see the difference.  Also, never use hot water for istinja, as this only worsens the problem.
