I cannot read the Quran properly

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Tafseer Raheemi

Question

I can not read the Quran shareef properly, but I am trying to recite it properly. Is it ok if I do some little bit mistakes while reciting?

Answer

As long as you are trying as well as possible, you will get double the reward – one for reciting and one for your efforts.

Hadhrat ‘Aa’ishah radhiyallahu anha narrates that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam once said,

“One who is well versed in the Quran will be in the company of those angels who are scribes, noble and riteous; and one who falters in reading the Quran and has to exert hard for learning, gets double the reward”.
