Are we allowed to read the holy Quran in our native language (where arabic isn’t our native language) to try and understand the message from Allah?
You can read a translation for understanding and you will get reward. However, the special Sawaab of Ten Hasanaat for every letter can only be gained through reciting in Arabic.
