Creating islaahi taaluq

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org

I live in Chicago and it is hard for me to go to India because of legal matters. It is hard to for me to become Deendaar because I lived in the U.S. since I was 5 and I have been in a filthy environment, ever since. I want to make Hazrat Mufti Sahib my Musheer and spiritual mentor. I want to create an Islaahi Taalluq, if Hazrat Mufti Sahib accepts this humble offer, it would become a means of guidance for me. I tried going in Jamat, but the work in Chicago isn’t as strong and tarbiyat is temporary. I become religious temporarily then went back to the same usual sins. If Hazrat Mufti Sahib can begin my tarbiyat it would very beneficial for me. If Hazrat Mufti Sahib accepts this filthy person I will contact him myself and begin in my first opportunity. I apologize to Hazrat for any ignorance and lack of proper etiquettes in requesting his guidance.

There are ups and downs in everyone’s lives. If someone spends a few days in the path of Allah and benefits and brings positive changes in himself, then upon returning to his home environment falls back to his old sinful ways, he should continue spending more time in Jamaat. But in addition to this effort of tableegh, he should be under the guidance of someone. There is nothing wrong in spending time in the path of Allah and having a personal mentor at the same time. Thus, you should continue spending time in Jamaat and contact me through phone; Inshallah we can discuss how to establish a proper relationship in which we can help you better.
