I am a software consultant currently working in a project not related to banks but because of some problems at workplace, the consulting company has offered me to work with bank as a client. I am working abroad and have been hired by the consulting company and they would be paying me the salary. Is this salary Halal to me?

I am a software consultant currently working in a project not related to banks but because of some problems at workplace, the consulting company has offered me to work with bank as a client. I am working abroad and have been hired by the consulting company and they would be paying me the salary. Is this salary Halal to me? Also, is it permissible to work for any company which is handling bank projects?
This job is lawful also the earning from it is lawful. To fix computers, regardless of the use made out of them, for whatever purpose it may be, is permissible.
