Is it permissible to trim hairs of pubic area instead of complete shaving . Further, do the hairs around penis, scrotum and anus need to be removed?

Is it permissible to trim hairs of pubic area instead of complete shaving . Further, do the hairs around penis, scrotum and anus need to be removed?
The best thing to do is clean it completely which is called ‘istihdad’. The machines that are available these days can also trimm the hair that is also allowed. To completely shave is called ‘istihdad’.
